Our team is here to help you every step of the way.

At Lansdowne Heights, we’ve put together a team of passionate healthcare professionals with years of experience. We are dedicated to the humanity, dignity and well-being of residents entrusted to our care, and our team acts more as a family than just coworkers.

Administrator

Justin Roberts, CDP, CADDCT

Justin has worked in the senior living industry since 2005. He began his career in healthcare as a caretaker and moved on to studying Healthcare Administration at George Mason University where he earned a Master’s degree. Justin has opened other memory care communities in the past and has enjoyed his time at all of them. He opened Lansdowne Heights in June 2020 and has been employed with the Hamister Group LLC since 2019.

Justin grew up in Northern Virginia and loves giving back to the community he grew up in. His passion for memory care comes from his own family experiences; he enjoys educating our team and our families on the progression of the disease & provide supporting services as they navigate this journey.

Sales and Marketing Director

Bianca Butoi-Patru, CDP

Bianca joined the Lansdowne Heights Team in February 2021. She comes with an extensive background in sales and marketing within senior living. Bianca graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration – concentration in senior living. She has worked in various areas of the senior living spectrum: skilled nursing, assisted living and memory care. Bianca is passionate about advocating for the elderly and being a resource to families and professionals in helping them navigate the continuum of care by being their trusted advisor.

In her spare time, Bianca loves to bake (Betty Crocker 2.0) and travel the world to experience new cuisines and cultures. Bianca is fluent in Romanian.

Director of Personal Care

Gary Paul, RN, CDP

Gary Paul joined the Lansdowne Heights Team in June 2021 as the Director of Personal Care. Throughout his nursing career, he has led clinical teams in acute ambulatory settings, including Level 2 trauma emergency departments and urgent care. He previously served as the safety executive for a major national retail and distribution firm, where he was responsible for the health and safety for thousands of personnel. Prior to embarking on his nursing career, he served in the U.S. Coast Guard as a search & rescue coxswain. Gary holds a Bachelor of Nursing from Chamberlain University and is currently working on his Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of South Carolina.

Outside of work and academics, Gary enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, exploring the outdoors, or relaxing as a family.

Case Manager

Emily Paul, CDP

Emily Paul joined the Lansdowne Heights Team in May 2022 as Case Manager. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from The University of Virginia College at Wise in Communication and has over 10 years of experience in various healthcare settings, including home health, acute rehabilitation, and emergency medicine. She is excited to bring her skills in case management and operations to Lansdowne Heights. Emily is a passionate people person and knows there is no one way to approach a problem. She believes in meeting and communicating with individuals right where they are and is looking forward to getting to know and become part of each family she takes care of.

Emily is an avid Washington Capitals fan and the way to her heart is through Reese’s Cups and office supplies. She enjoys visiting with her family and friends at wineries, supporting local businesses, and telling really cheesy jokes. Emily lives in Winchester with her husband, Brian, and their two dogs, Leonardo and Dot.

Recreation Director

Silang “CiCi” DeFour, CDP

Silang “CiCi” DeFour joined the Landsdowne Heights Team in October 2021 as the Recreation Director. Throughout CiCi’s career she has been an engager and entertainer. She has organized community events, support groups, charitable functions, and most recently she started her own entertainment company. CiCi is a Certified Dementia Practitioner, Zumba Instructor, and a National Certified Medical Assistant. In both her professional and personal career, bringing people together has always been her passion.

Outside of work CiCi enjoys karaoke, dancing, and spending time with family and friends. An interesting fun fact about CiCi is that she is an ordained minister!

Culinary Director

John Harder, CDP

John has worked in the senior living industry since 2015. Prior to that, he spent 15 years working in casinos and restaurants. He has worked in independent & assisted living communities, memory care, skilled nursing facilities, as well as buffets, steakhouses, Pacific rim seafood restaurants, and much more. John’s passion for senior living, memory care and food service are in his blood. He has had grandparents with Alzheimer’s on both sides of his family and his paternal grandmother was the food service director at Paradise Valley Sanitarium in National City, CA, where his grandfather was in charge of facilities and laundry.

John lives in Leesburg with his wife, 4 kids, dogs, a cat, and guinea pigs. He enjoys football, gardening and coaching his kids’ sports teams.

Business Office Manager

Kristi Bennett, CDP

Kristi is a native of Nashville, Tennessee. She has been at Lansdowne Heights since February 2020 and has helped with the opening of the community. Kristi is particularly passionate about Memory Care and appreciates the opportunity to work with a specialized care team. She says “Caring is truly a privilege and caring is what our team does best.” In addition, Kristi enjoys spending time with her family attending sporting events and vacationing anyplace that is hosting a Jazz Festival.

Maintenance Director

Christopher Poulin, CDP

Chris started working in the healthcare industry in 2017 when he became a maintenance director at a skilled nursing facility in West Virginia. He joined Lansdowne Heights in July of 2021 and has been leading the maintenance department, laundry & housekeeping.

Chris loves taking care of our residents by interacting with them daily doing whatever he can to make our community feel like home. Chris also loves serving his community and has been an active Volunteer Firefighter for the past 15 years. Chris lives in Ranson WV with his wife, 2 children and 4 cats.
