Jacqueline Wagner, RN, BSN, CDP
Jackie is a mother of 5 wonderful children, Joshua, Danielle, Jonathan, Jordan and Julianne. She currently lives in Winchester but was born in Florida where her father, Brian, was in the Air Force and stationed at Tyndall AFB. She and her younger brother, Michael, were raised mostly in Loudoun County and graduated from Loudoun Valley High School. Jackie has been in healthcare for the majority of her adult life from working as a nursing assistant to a medical assistant, an EMT to a registered nurse and a Critical Care Registered Nurse to an educator. She earned her ASN RN from Lord Fairfax Community College and then her BSN from Chamberlain University. She is pursuing a Master’s in Nursing as well. Working in intensive care as a staff nurse as well as a travel nurse afforded her the opportunity to gain a unique perspective on the geriatric population their ailments and care needs.
Faith and family are very important aspects of Jackie’s life and she draws inspiration from her strong, ever faithful, mother, Deb. Her “can do” attitude and persistent pursuit of what is right are a direct result of her parents, who still reside in Loudoun County. Going on family vacations is a favorite past time of Jackie’s family, especially to Tennessee and Florida. In her spare time, she enjoys singing karaoke with friends, going to any beach, watching sunrises and sunsets and baking just about any dessert you can imagine.
Jackie’s family was personally touched by dementia and it left its mark on their hearts. This drives her passion for working with the geriatric and dementia affected population. Making the lives of the families and residents of Lansdowne Heights a little brighter is a personal goal for Jackie every day.
